Privacy Policy

This policy describes information handled by the 3D Utopia studio website at studio.3dutopia.com, including customer inquiries, design uploads, messages, accounts, and site traffic.

Information you provide

When you submit a request, we store your account identifier and email address, project title, category, description, design photos, messages, submission times, and request status. For recorded orders, we also store the customer email, order number, item, quantity, price, order details, and manually recorded payment and fulfillment status. Only submit information and images you are authorized to share. Avoid uploading sensitive personal information.

Customer profiles and preferences

You may save your name, phone number, address, preferred language, preferred contact method, and communication choices in your account. We use these details to contact you about your projects and prefill new requests. Optional workshop marketing email is off by default. You can edit or clear these details and change your choices on My profile. If you select email project updates, we send email notifications when our team replies to your requests or chats. You can turn these off in My profile. Text preferences support manual follow-up; automated text delivery is not enabled. We store read times to show unread reply counts and a snapshot of communication choices with new requests.

Account sign-in and Google information

Customer accounts use Supabase authentication. When you use Google sign-in, we use basic Google account information, such as your account identifier and email address, to authenticate you and associate your requests with your account. The sign-in provider may also supply your name and profile picture. We do not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, or your contacts. Google and Supabase handle the credentials used for Google sign-in; we do not receive your Google password.

Legacy account access and owner administration can also use ChatGPT sign-in. Your Google or email account and a legacy ChatGPT account may have separate saved submissions; contact us if you need help with older requests.

How information is used

We use account information, submissions, photos, and messages to respond to questions, discuss designs, prepare quotes, manage custom projects, and show you your saved submissions. Administrators can view customer requests and reply. We do not sell account information or uploaded designs, or use Google account data for advertising.

Traffic and cookies

We record page views and, when available, IP addresses and approximate network locations for private traffic reporting and site administration. Detailed visit records are retained for 90 days; aggregate daily counts may remain longer. Network locations are approximate and may reflect a VPN or shared network. Authentication providers may use cookies or browser storage to maintain sign-in sessions.

Product and video reactions

If you choose Like, Love, or Dislike on a product or video, we store that choice with a random browser identifier in a cookie lasting up to one year. This remembers one reaction per browser per item and lets you change or remove it without signing in. Public pages and admins see aggregate counts, not your name or email. Clearing cookies or using another browser may allow a separate reaction. We use a short-lived hashed network identifier to limit excessive reaction changes.

Service providers and checkout

The site uses Sites hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure for website delivery, request records, and private image storage. Supabase handles customer authentication. Google processes Google sign-in. When you follow a Square checkout link, Square processes your payment under its own policies. This studio site does not collect or store your card number. External social and shop links have their own privacy policies.

Newsletter and marketing preferences

If you opt in, we store your email address, account identifier, optional name, consent wording, signup source, preference update time, and unsubscribe token. Marketing preferences are separate from project and order updates. You can change your choice in your profile or on the newsletter signup page. Marketing email unsubscribe links work without signing in. Authorized admins can manage the subscriber list and prepare campaign drafts.

With automatic workshop updates enabled, registered subscribers who opted in may receive one daily email about newly published products, videos, or promotions. Each message includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribed customers are skipped before sending.

Referral rewards

We store your referral code, referral attribution, qualifying order references, reward approval and expiration dates, and redemption details. Referrers see their rewards, not the referred customer’s identity or order details. Authorized admins review referrals and apply discounts.

Affiliate links

We count outbound affiliate link clicks by product and date to understand interest in our workshop picks. These are aggregate counts, including repeat clicks. This feature does not store names, email addresses, IP addresses, or tracking cookies.

Our Tools & Materials page contains Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you follow a link, Amazon may use cookies or other tracking technologies under its own privacy policies to attribute qualifying purchases. We may receive commission and aggregate affiliate reports. We do not receive your Amazon password or payment details.

Access, retention, and requests

Saved submissions remain available for project follow-up unless removed. You can ask us to correct account or submission information, delete an account or design upload, or explain what information we hold. Some transaction or project records may need to be retained for applicable obligations. Contact us to discuss a request.
